In an effort to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all, the Pacific Rainbow Games Trust has announced a domestic outreach programme to provide financial support for individuals and teams aiming to participate in the upcoming Rainbow Games, scheduled from Thursday 4 – Monday 8 April 2024.
The programme, designed to embody the inclusive spirit of the Rainbow Games, prioritizes support for Takatāpui and Pacific Island individuals and teams. Additionally, it welcomes teams composed of rainbow participants, reflecting the event's commitment to embracing allies within the community.
Registrations for the Rainbow Games close on Monday 4 March 2024. Interested participants are encouraged to promptly fill out the application form and submit via email to Teresa.platt@rainbowgames.co.nz by Sunday 3 March 2024. Upon receipt, the Trust will review applications and notify successful candidates promptly, facilitating their online registration for the event.
Applicants are invited to include any additional requirements they may have to ensure their full participation in the Rainbow Games. Whether it's accessibility accommodations or specific needs related to their gender or identity, the Trust aims to accommodate all requests to make the event as welcoming and inclusive as possible.
